Confidential Contact Persons
Whatever weighs on you, you are not alone. Our Confidential Contact Persons offer a discreet, judgement-free ear for any member who needs one, on or off the association floor.
Why we have them
A community is only strong when everyone feels safe within it.
At U.L.S.V. Amino we believe an association is more than activities and committees. It is the people who fill the Amino Room, the friendships built over coffee and the trust that holds it all together. When that trust is shaken, we want our members to know exactly where to go.
Our Confidential Contact Persons (CCPs) are members you can approach with anything that feels too heavy to carry alone. A difficult experience during an activity, tension within a committee, something happening in your personal life that spills into your studies, or behaviour from another member that did not sit right with you.

What you can come to us with
There is no problem too small.
You do not need a serious incident to reach out. If something is on your mind and Amino is part of it, we are here to listen.
Anything from off-colour jokes to harassment, discrimination or transgressive behaviour during activities or in the Amino Room.
Stress, loneliness, mental health, family situations or anything from your private life that affects how you experience the association.
Friction with a committee member, a fellow student or with the board. We help you think through your options before you act.
Sometimes you only need someone to listen without judgement. No advice, no escalation, just space to think out loud.
If you have witnessed or experienced something serious, we help you understand what reporting options exist within and outside Amino.
Not sure if what you experienced was a big deal? We help you put words to it without pushing you in any direction.
Our promise to you
Three things we always honour.
These principles are why the role exists. You hold the wheel; we walk alongside you at the pace you choose.
Confidentiality
Nothing you share leaves the conversation without your explicit consent. Not with the board, not with your committee, not with other members.
You decide the next step
We never act on your behalf without permission. Whether you want to vent, to plan, or to file a formal report, the choice is yours.
No judgement
We do not measure whether something was 'serious enough'. If it matters to you, it matters to us.
