Your home for Life Sciences in Utrecht
U.L.S.V. Amino is the study association for Life Sciences students at Utrecht University. We connect, support and celebrate students from their first day on campus through graduation, and far beyond.
A community built around curiosity and friendship
Amino is more than a study association. We are a community of bachelor and master students who share a passion for Life Sciences, and a fondness for the people studying it alongside them. From the very first introduction week to your graduation ceremony, you find Amino somewhere in the picture.
Our home base is the Amino Room in the Caroline Bleeker Building. Drop by between lectures, grab a coffee, meet your committee, or settle into the couch with a board game. Whatever brings you in, you will find familiar faces and a warm welcome.

Three values that guide everything we do
Whether you are a first-year finding your feet or a master student wrapping up your thesis, Amino is the place where you meet people who get what you are going through.
We welcome students from every background, nationality and study path within Life Sciences. Our Confidential Contact Persons are always available when you need them.
From career events to international exchanges and from study support to gala nights, we help you grow in ways the curriculum alone never could.

A board, nine committees and three taskforces
In addition to the board that keeps Amino running, Amino currently has nine committees and three task forces. These committees and task forces organize most of the activities and services for the association, from galas and study support to merchandise and career events.
