A diverse group of Amino members together in Utrecht
For International Students

Welcome to Utrecht, welcome to Amino.

Moving to a new country for your studies is a big step. U.L.S.V. Amino is here to make Utrecht feel like home, with an English-speaking community, social activities, and fellow Life Sciences students who know exactly what you are going through.

Why Amino

An English-speaking home for Life Sciences students.

English is our standard, not an afterthought. From general assembly meetings to committee evenings, you are part of the conversation from day one.

English by default

Our communication, activities and committee meetings run in English. You never have to ask anyone to switch.

Meet fellow students

Connect with Dutch and international Life Sciences students who share your studies and interests.

The Amino Room

Drop by the Caroline Bleeker Building, grab a coffee, and meet members between lectures.

Activities all year

From study sessions to galas, our 9 committees and 3 task forces organise something for everyone.

Education support

Practical help with your bachelor or master, from study material to advice from students who have been there.

A real community

Inclusive, warm, and a bit playful. You will find your people, your committee, and your traditions.

Settling in

Studying in Utrecht, the short version.

Utrecht is a compact, bike-friendly student city with a strong Life Sciences faculty. Most of your courses, labs and lectures take place at the Utrecht Science Park, only a short ride from the city centre.

Where we are

U.L.S.V. Amino is based in the Caroline Bleeker Building at Sorbonnelaan 4, on the Utrecht Science Park.

Getting around

A bike is essential. Trams and buses connect the science park to the city centre in around fifteen minutes.

Your studies

Whether you are a bachelor or master student, Amino supports you with study material, contacts and a peer network.
